Belvedere Appoints its Consumer Advisory Body (CAB)

We are proud to announce that Belvedere Aged Care held our first Consumer Advisory Body (CAB) meeting on Wednesday 29 November 2023.

The establishment of Belvedere’s CAB aligns with the Aged Care Reforms which seeks to strengthen the governance of aged care providers. Our CAB includes relatives representing their respective accommodation wing at Belvedere and provides a voice for their communities. An expression of interest was sought from resident relatives and additionally, the inclusion of a resident representative.

We welcome to our Consumer Advisory Body the following members:

– Josephine Mifsud (Chair and North Wing)
– Natalie Williamson and Jo Taranto (South Wing and Italian Voice)
– Steve Tolson (AB Wing)
– Robert Horton (Resident Representative and Resident Voice)

The CAB is supported by our Management representative, Analyn Diongco and meets monthly. The CAB will provide a report either at each meeting, quarterly, or at least annually to Belvedere’s governing body and actions communicated to our residents and relatives via our Resident Relative meetings and family enewsletter.
