Easter Joy and Family Connection Shine at Belvedere Aged Care

On Friday, 11 April, Belvedere hosted a heartwarming Easter celebration that brought together residents, families, and the local community for a truly special afternoon of connection, joy, and festive cheer.

The event welcomed guests of all ages — from toddlers to great-grandparents — for an unforgettable day filled with live entertainment, an Easter egg hunt, and a gourmet buffet spread crafted by Belvedere’s beloved Chef of over 15 years, Raj Chandran.

Guests were thrilled to be joined by City of Greater Dandenong Mayor, Cr Jim Memeti, who judged the children’s colouring competition and praised Belvedere’s commitment to fostering multigenerational connections.

“This event beautifully captures the spirit of togetherness,” said Cr Memeti. “..it improves intergenerational connections, enhances social engagement and boosts the wellbeing of everyone involved.”

At Belvedere Aged Care, creating meaningful experiences like these is all part of our warm and inclusive lifestyle. “Each month, our calendar is filled with in-house and external events for residents to enjoy,” says Karin Blavo, Belvedere’s Lifestyle Manager. “We’re committed to creating opportunities where families and friends can feel welcome and included. When loved ones are involved, the emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing of our residents is uplifted well beyond the day itself.”

Tracey Davis, whose mother resides at Belvedere, reflected on the day: “I attended with my daughter, three grandchildren, and my niece and her three children. It was a beautiful day. The music was lovely, the buffet was amazing, and the egg hunt was a big hit.. Thank you for creating these lovely opportunities for our residents to enjoy with their loved ones.”
