Thank you to all residents, family and staff who attended Belvedere Aged Care Memorial Day 2017. This was a beautiful and poignant event celebrating the residents who passed away over the last 12 months. An annual event, it aims to bring families to the Belvedere Community where together, we support each other in grief and reflection.
Our most memorable moment is the release of white balloons to signify the release of grief and the wish of hope and comfort to all.
With thanks to Clare Dubery for her selection of music and performance leaving not a dry eye in the room. Thank you to our families who participated in reading of poems and lighting of candles. By participating in this event it helps us to bring value and a personal touch to the event.
As always, our wonderful Chef Raj put on an elegant display of fresh food for afternoon tea. We are grateful for the care and passion he always displays in preparing Belvedere’s menu.
We welcome all from the Belvedere community – staff, residents, families, who’ve lost a loved ones to join us in this yearly event.
